Lavender Town’s debút is a drug-and-video-game-fueled exercise in nihilistic irony. If Electric Wizard plumbed the depths of Sega and Nintendo instead of B-movie horror, “How Ya Doomin’” is a pretty good approximation of the record that would transpire. Plodding stoner riffs and heavy psych guitar solos back fantastic tales of dying Xboxes, Satanic bongloads, and the frustration of running out of lives having forgotten to write down the level password.
Recommended for fans of Weedeater, Vault Dweller, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Blue Dream.

Distributed in hand-assembled CD-R in slimline cases with 4-panel color insert. Undisclosed limitation.
