Lace Shawl est la première démo du one-man band américain du même nom dirigé par un certain attic mancer dont l'ambition est de jouer du raw black atmosphérique victorien. Dans "Aristocratic Wraith Of The Wardrobe", cette ambiance passe par un synthé nostalgique (à la limite du kitsch) et une batterie impériale. Imaginez Revenant Marquis, mais les rideaux sont ouverts, les jardins couverts de fleurs au lieu de tombes, le feu crépite dans les cheminées, les robes ont des couleurs flamboyantes...
